Electrophysiologist - OU Health - The University of Oklahoma Job Description The University of Oklahoma Medical Center is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Electrophysiologist to join our expanding Cardiovascular Division. This is a full-time faculty role at a major academic medical center, offering the opportunity to deliver high-quality care while contributing to trainee education, quality initiatives, and scholarly work. The EP program is supported by dedicated nursing and APP support. We are seeking early to mid-career applicants with expertise in device and ablation procedures. Position Highlights 505-bed tertiary care academic hospital. Candidates are eligible for faculty appointments with the OU College of Medicine, Department of Medicine. Academic rank will be commensurate with academic experience and accomplishments. Faculty pathways include Academic Physician, Clinician Educator, and Clinician Investigator, depending on scholarship focus. Requirements

  • Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Electrophysiologist
  • Expertise in device and ablation procedures

Responsibilities

  • Deliver outpatient and inpatient EP consultative care.
  • Perform device and ablation procedures in the electrophysiology laboratory, which comprises 2 dedicated rooms and a hybrid suite.
  • Supervise and mentor EP fellows (2 per year) in outpatient, inpatient and laboratory-based settings.
  • Engage in departmental quality improvement initiatives and attend faculty meetings as required.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
