About The Position

The Oregon Clinic is hiring a full-time Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner to join its Gastroenterology West Clinic in Southwest Portland. The role works alongside a collaborative team of patient-focused colleagues and physicians to deliver specialty care and a consistent, efficient experience for patients and other stakeholders. The position is expected to treat gastrointestinal conditions and provide preventive care, with the goal of transitioning the practice panel to serve patients on the Liver Care Team. The role is based at the Peterkort Medical Office Building and typically works four 10-hour shifts Monday through Friday; the day off is to be determined.

Requirements

Successful completion of an accredited Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner program.
Current Oregon license.
Ability to initiate work, work independently, and effectively multitask.

Nice To Haves

At least two years of professional Physician Associate or Nurse Practitioner experience in a clinical setting is strongly preferred.
Gastroenterology specialty care experience is a plus.
Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience is preferred; Epic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assess and manage Gastroenterology patients in accordance with established standards and practices.
Treat gastrointestinal conditions and provide preventive care.
Transition with the practice panel to serve patients on the Liver Care Team.
Provide patient-focused care and communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and team members.
Perform other duties as assigned.
