About The Position

One Medical is hiring a full-time Physician Assistant for its Virtual Medical Team. The team provides convenient, evidence-based virtual clinical care to One Medical patients in coordination with their primary care providers. Using advanced technology and a team-based approach, the Virtual Medical Team cares for patients 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The role involves treating patients through telehealth visits, including telephone triage, video appointments, and email follow-ups. Providers participate in weekly Clinical Rounds and daily huddles, collaborate with virtual and in-office teammates, and use their clinical training to deliver exceptional virtual care. This is a full-time virtual role requiring weekday and weekend availability, including every other Saturday and/or Sunday. Current shifts range from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. PST through 1 p.m. to midnight PST. Schedules may change based on business direction.

Requirements

Completion of a master's degree in an accredited Physician Assistant program (MSPAS).
Maintain active NCCPA certification.
Within the past five years, have practiced as an Advanced Practitioner for at least two years in either an outpatient primary care setting seeing patients of all ages (0+), or an urgent care or emergency medicine setting seeing patients of all ages (0+).
Hold a current license in Maryland, the District of Columbia, or Virginia, with the ability to obtain additional state licenses.
Be able to work weekday and weekend shifts; every other Saturday and/or Sunday is required.
Have excellent clinical and communication skills.
Demonstrate a passion for human-centered primary care and clinical proficiency in evidence-based primary care.
Communicate effectively with and provide care to individuals of all backgrounds.
Effectively use technology to deliver high-quality care.
Want to contribute as an integral member of a team dedicated to changing healthcare delivery.
Be open to feedback and reflection, navigate uncertain situations confidently, and adapt personal and interpersonal behavior to meet patient needs.
