Locum - Same Day Care Physician Assistant
About The Position
The Hawaii Permanente Medical Group, Inc. is seeking an Urgent Care Physician Assistant to provide same day acute care at Kaiser Permanente Waipio Medical Office in Central Oahu. This is an exceptional opportunity for a Physician Assistant with solid clinical skills to practice in an innovative and fully integrated health system. The role involves same day acute care with a blend of outpatient illnesses and injuries for a diverse patient population of all ages. There is excellent follow up by the patient's PCP, a high degree of collaboration with specialists and staff, and AI documentation is available. A state-of-the-art EMR (EPIC) supports integration with all providers.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited PA program
- NCCPA and BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years of post-training experience in Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and Primary Care
- Recent experience caring for patients as young as 6 months
- Must commit to a full-time schedule for a minimum of 6-months
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree, Master's degree preferred
