Walk-In Clinic (1st Care) Physician Assistant
About The Position
Foundation Health Partners 1st Care, a family medicine walk-in medical clinic, is seeking an advanced practice provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to join their highly experienced and growing team. FHP 1st Care is an ED-light walk-in clinic that manages a variety of health concerns, including orthopedic injuries, minor traumas, acute and chronic illness, and pediatric complaints. Our team provides advanced diagnostics through our on-site lab and radiology, with efficient access to an advanced imaging center. As the go-to community provider for walk-in care, you can expect that every day will present new and exciting challenges.
Requirements
- Must be approved to practice by the State Joint Board on the Regulation of Physician's Assistants.
- NCCPA certification required.
- Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.
- Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management.
- Must have sufficient experience, confidence, and judgment to function with little outside direction.
- Ability to maintain CME currency as required to maintain NCCPA certification.
- Requires personal DEA license.
Nice To Haves
- Advanced degree preferred.
- ACLS, PALS, ATLS, and/or Neonatal Resuscitation certifications desirable.
