About The Position
Elliot Health System is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join its integrated acute care surgery program at Elliot Hospital, an American College of Surgeons-verified Level II Trauma Center. The program cares for injured patients and manages a busy emergency general surgery service, while developing a surgical critical care service. The team includes seven surgeons and eight physician assistants. The role offers exposure to more than 1,000 trauma encounters or admissions and more than 700 operative surgical cases, with APPs serving as first assists on most cases, as well as participation in a multidisciplinary surgical critical care service. Clinicians use an integrated Epic EMR.
Requirements
- RNFA certification is required for nurse practitioners (NPs).
Responsibilities
