Neuro Interventional Surgery/Neurosurgery Physician Assistant (PA)
About The Position
United Health Services is seeking a Physician Assistant for its Neuro Interventional Surgery/Neurosurgery opportunity in Neurocritical Care at UHS Wilson Medical Center. The role is full-time and exempt, with day or night schedules available according to the candidate’s preference. UHS is considering both experienced Physician Assistants and new graduates. The Physician Assistant provides direct care to critically ill and injured patients in collaboration with, and under the direction of, physicians in the Neuro-Endovascular and Neuro Critical Care Program. Care is delivered according to established standards and practices.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with ANCC or AANP certification, or graduate of a physician assistant program.
- Successful completion of an approved Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.
- Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations.
- CPR and ACLS certification, maintained during employment.
- Obtain NIH Stroke Scale certification within three months of starting employment.

- Previous critical care experience, such as in an ICU or Emergency Department.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care to critically ill and injured patients.
- Collaborate with and work under the direction of physicians in the Neuro-Endovascular and Neuro Critical Care Program.
