About The Position

Kelsey-Seybold’s Pain Management Center is actively recruiting a Physician Assistant to assist the clinic with the treatment of patients who suffer with pain. This is a position in a clinical setting, which would require one to be available between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.

Requirements

Must be a graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
Must hold a current Texas State Physician Assistant license.
Must have current DEA registration.
Must have current BLS certification.
Must have at least one year of experience in pain management or a related field.

Nice To Haves

Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

Assisting the pain management physicians in clinic to achieve optimal efficiency in the practice of pain management.
Holding clinic and seeing patients for follow up visits, assisting these patients with the medical management of their disease.
Managing narcotics, narcotic agreements, opiate management administrative work and pre and post-operative procedural care
Working with primary care practitioners and other specialties with the management of patients who suffer from pain, providing a team approach that facilitates and enhances the quality of care for such patients.
