Interventional Pain Management
About The Position
This is a locum tenens opportunity for a Physician specializing in Pain Management, specifically an Interventional Anesthesiologist, to work in an outpatient interventional pain management clinic with an in-office procedure suite in South Carolina. The role focuses solely on clinical procedures, with no new patients, follow-up visits, or medication management required. The practice has over 25 years of experience and is equipped with fluoroscopy and radiofrequency (RF) generators. The provider will perform a high volume of procedures, approximately 25-30 per day, and must be comfortable working within strict pain management compliance protocols. The EMR system used is eClinicalWorks.
Requirements
- Active South Carolina medical license (required before credentialing)
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Anesthesiology or Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation (PM&R)
- Comfortable working within strict pain management compliance protocols
- Proficiency in performing Cervical Epidural Steroid Injections
- Proficiency in performing Thoracic Epidural Steroid Injections
- Proficiency in performing Lumbar Epidural Steroid Injections
- Proficiency in performing Facet Joint Blocks
- Proficiency in performing Radiofrequency Ablation (RFA)
- Proficiency in performing Sacroiliac (SI) Joint Injections
- Proficiency in performing Peripheral Joint Injections
- Proficiency in performing Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Proficiency in performing Kyphoplasty
- Proficiency in performing Stellate Ganglion Blocks
- Proficiency in performing Celiac Plexus Blocks
- Proficiency in performing Lumbar Sympathetic Blocks
- Proficiency in performing Superior Hypogastric Plexus Blocks
- Proficiency in performing Ganglion Impar Blocks
- Proficiency in performing Gasserian Ganglion Blocks
- Proficiency in performing Occipital Nerve Blocks
- Proficiency in performing Fluoroscopy-guided interventional pain procedures

Responsibilities
