About The Position
NewYork-Presbyterian Queens is seeking a per diem Physician Assistant for Internal Medicine. The PA will provide evidence-based care at a community-based teaching hospital, taking front-line responsibility for screening, diagnosing, and treating patients. The role includes conducting skilled assessments, developing care plans, counseling patients, and making thoughtful referrals as part of a patient-focused team. The position offers clinical autonomy and collaboration with the PA team, with a focus on improving the patient care experience and patient outcomes. All roles require on-site presence, and employees should live within commuting distance of NewYork-Presbyterian; travel expenses are not reimbursed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Physician Assistant studies.
- New York State licensure.
- NCCPA certification.
Nice To Haves
- At least one year of inpatient medicine experience.
- New graduates who have completed an internal medicine rotation are encouraged to apply.
