As a full-time employee, the Provider will provide a full scope of Specialty services to Group's patients at the Facilities. The Provider shall perform all duties and services under Group's general constraints that require the Provider to infringe the ethics of the medical profession, violate any law, or practice outside the Provider's Specialty and experience. The Provider retains the right to exercise the Provider's independent medical judgment in providing care and treatment to patients. The Provider shall be courteous and respectful of the rights and dignity of patients with whom he/she comes into contact and shall work cooperatively with Group's administrative staff. The Provider shall abide by all Group policies and procedures, as adopted and updated from time to time. The Provider shall provide services to all patients regardless of their race, sexual preference, religion, gender, or ability or inability to pay and any other class protected by law. Independence Physician Management (IPM), a subsidiary of UHS, was formed in 2012 as the physician services unit of UHS. IPM develops and manages multi-specialty physician networks and urgent care clinics which align with UHS acute care facilities. It also provides select services for the Behavioral Health division of UHS. Through continuing growth, IPM operates in 11 markets across six states and the District of Columbia.
