About The Position

Performs courier duties for all clinics. Transports specimens, radiology films, reports, and supplies between the clinics and clients. Operates a motor vehicle in accordance with all laws and qualifies as an “eligible driver” as defined Corporate Fleet Safety policies. Treat everyone as a guest by making a good first impression, anticipating needs and displaying service recovery skills. Demonstrate professionalism and excellence by looking professional, being accountable for actions and delivering excellence in our everyday work. Practice teamwork by participating in decision making and process improvement, communicating effectively and focusing on the problem/issue, not the person.

Requirements

  • High school graduate or GED required.
  • History of good driving record in accordance with Corporate Fleet Safety Program required.
  • Has maintained a safe driving record and has not received any moving violations over the past year.
  • Proven work history required
  • Must know current driving laws
  • Typing and basic computer skills required
  • Valid state driver's license required

Responsibilities

  • Demonstrates proper and safe handling and delivery of specimens and radiology films to and from customers
  • Delivers test reports to physician's office or institutions at scheduled intervals
  • Delivers supplies, requisitions and miscellaneous items requested by client accounts and keeps records accordingly
  • Maintains cell phone
  • Completes departmental training and competency exams
  • Assists clinic staff with requested laboratory records and test results
  • Other duties as assigned
