About The Position

Join Rochester Regional Health's collaborative Spine Surgery team and gain hands-on experience across the full spectrum of spine care, including the OR, clinic, and inpatient settings. Requirements

• BS: Physician Assistant (Required)
• PA-C - Certified Physician Assistant - National Committee on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• RPA - Registered Physician Assistant - New York State Education Department (NYSED)

Responsibilities

• First assist in spine surgery procedures
• Assist other locations
• Evaluate and manage operative and non-operative spine patients
• Provide pre-op, post-op, and inpatient care
• Order and interpret diagnostic studies
• Collaborate with surgeons and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
