Physician Assistant - Primary Care (ID License required)
About The Position
Greater Good Health is seeking a Physician Assistant to join their Primary Care team in Ammon, ID. This role focuses on providing value-based primary care to senior Medicare patients, addressing health disparities, and reimagining senior healthcare. The Physician Assistant will conduct annual wellness visits, manage high-risk patients (primarily at their residence, supplemented by telehealth), document medical histories, administer tests, collaborate with the care team, ensure timely patient record completion using electronic medical records, provide patient education on preventive care, and maintain HIPAA confidentiality. Requirements
- Current Idaho Physician Assistant license
- Board Certified Physician Assistant
- 2 + years of clinical experience as a PA in either Primary Care, Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Gerontology or Palliative Care.
- Working knowledge of chronic care management and various medication options
- Current DEA licensure / Prescriptive Authority post-hire
- Active CPR/BLS Certification
- Current Idaho Driver’s License

- Home care experience is a plus
- Bilingual preferred – English and Spanish
Responsibilities
- Conducting annual wellness visits/managing high-risk primarily at the patient's residence, supplemented by telehealth
- Thoroughly documenting medical histories, symptoms, and medication information
- Administering various tests and screenings
- Collaborating with our Primary Care team to ensure holistic patient care
- Ensuring timely completion of patient records, with access to electronic medical records and portals
- Providing patient education on preventive care and prescribed treatments
- Maintaining strict confidentiality in line with HIPAA regulations
