About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Physician Assistant specializing in Surgery. The coverage period is from mid-December 2026 through at least April 2027, with a standard Monday to Friday schedule.
Requirements
- Board certified
- Valid Virginia medical license
- Active ACLS and BLS certifications
- Active DEA registration
- Clean background with no malpractice or license-related issues
- License to practice in Virginia
Responsibilities
- Provide post-procedural daily care
- Facilitate patient and family communication and education
- Collaborate closely with one employed neurosurgery Nurse Practitioner
