About The Position
We are seeking a Physician Assistant to join our outpatient Psychiatry team. The Physician Assistant will provide behavioral health treatment for a wide variety of psychiatric disorders.
Requirements
- Bilingual Spanish
- Certified as Physician Assistant
- Treat all age patients
Responsibilities
- Assess the patient’s general mental health condition by collecting medical histories, administering comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and identifying issues that may be affecting the patient’s state of mental health
- Collaborates with the psychiatrists and other staff members in the team in managing acute and long-term medical and psychiatric/mental health needs of patients.
