Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP)
About The Position
WellNow Urgent Care is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide quality healthcare to urgent care patients and occupational health clients. Providers work alongside a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care setting, managing adult and pediatric patients, diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments, and contributing to a positive and supportive medical community. The role offers opportunities for professional growth and has no on-call responsibilities. The starting hourly rate for qualified NP/PA candidates is $78 per hour. A $20,000 signing bonus is offered to qualified Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants. WellNow operates more than 150 locations across New York, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and is continuing to grow.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience or 18 months of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where the applicant is applying.
- Physician Assistants must hold active board certification with NCCPA.
- Family Nurse Practitioners must hold active board certification with AANP or ANCC.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of emergency medicine experience or 3 or more years of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
