About The Position

WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide quality healthcare to urgent care patients and Occupational Health clients. Providers work with a team of healthcare professionals to deliver care and contribute to a supportive medical community. The role includes managing adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care environment and diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments. WellNow has more than 150 locations across New York, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and continues to grow. The qualified NP/PA base rate is $85 per hour. Full-time providers are eligible for a sign-on bonus. There are no on-call responsibilities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience or 18 months of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
• State licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where applying.
• Physician Assistants must have active board certification with NCCPA.
• Family Nurse Practitioners must have active board certification with AANP or ANCC.

Nice To Haves

• 2 or more years of emergency medicine experience or 3 or more years of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
