About The Position

WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide quality healthcare to urgent care patients and Occupational Health clients. Providers work alongside a team of healthcare professionals in a fast-paced, high-volume urgent care setting, managing adult and pediatric patients and diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments. WellNow has more than 150 locations across New York, Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Pennsylvania, and continues to grow.

The qualified NP/PA base rate is $85 per hour. A sign-on bonus is offered to full-time providers. The role has no on-call responsibilities and includes monthly bonus opportunities.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience, or 18 months of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
• Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where the applicant is applying.
• Physician Assistants must have active board certification with NCCPA.
• Family Nurse Practitioners must have active board certification with AANP or ANCC.

Nice To Haves

• 2 or more years of emergency medicine experience, or 3 or more years of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
