About The Position
WellNow Urgent Care is hiring a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide care in an urgent care and occupational medicine setting. The provider will work alongside a team of healthcare professionals and manage adult and pediatric patients in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, diagnosing and treating a wide range of ailments. WellNow offers provider onboarding, training and education, site-level support, modern facilities and technology, and flexible scheduling with no on-call responsibilities. The position also includes access to free urgent care and telehealth visits for the provider and eligible dependents, parental leave, and medical benefits.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of emergency medicine experience or 18 months of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting.
- Ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
- Licensure as a Physician Assistant or Family Nurse Practitioner in the state where applying.
- For Physician Assistants: active board certification with NCCPA.
- For Family Nurse Practitioners: active board certification with AANP or ANCC.
Nice To Haves
- 2 or more years of emergency medicine experience or 3 or more years of experience in a high-volume urgent care setting, including the ability to manage adult and pediatric patients.
