Physician Assistant, PA / Nurse Practitioner, NP - General Cardiology
About The Position

As an APP you will perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with attending physicians and residents. Requirements
- 1-2 years Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience Required in Cardiology
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
- MSN Required.
- Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Practitioner, or by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
- Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) or (CRNP) Certified Registered Nurse
- BLS certification required.
- Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
- Must wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Cardiology preferred.
- May require ACLS certification.
- May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support)
