About The Position

Could you be our next Inpatient and Outpatient Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant in General Cardiology with Lankenau Heart Group in Broomall and Bryn Mawr, PA? Make an Impact! Use your advanced degree to enhance quality patient care; amplify communication between the physician, family members, and the health care team. As an APP you will perform acts of medical diagnosis or prescription of medical therapeutic or corrective measures in collaboration with attending physicians and residents. You will make an impact in leading quality and evidence-based care initiatives that will result in achieving optimal patient outcomes. You will work in both an Outpatient Clinic Practice in Broomall, PA and Inpatient at Bryn Mawr Hospital in Bryn Mawr, PA.

Requirements

  • Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program required.
  • MSN Required.
  • Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners as a Practitioner, or by the Pennsylvania State Board of Medical Education and Licensure.
  • Certification by the NCCPA (National Commission for Certification of Physician Assistants) or (CRNP) Certified Registered Nurse
  • BLS certification required.
  • May require ACLS certification.
  • May require PALS (pediatric advanced life support)
  • Successful completion of the MLH credentialing process through the Medical Staff office, with temporary or permanent privileges approved.
  • This position requires you to wear a respirator as part of the job requirement.

Nice To Haves

  • 2 years Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant experience preferred in Cardiology
  • Minimum of 2 years Nursing experience in Cardiology preferred.
  • Will consider new graduates with Cardiology background or Cardiology clinical rotations
