The PA practices medicine with physician supervision in an orthopedic urgent care setting including conducting examinations and writing prescriptions. Within physician–advanced practice provider relationship, APPs exercise autonomy in medical decision making and provide a broad range of diagnostic and therapeutic services. May include responsibility for education, research, and administrative services. This is a casual role that will be expected to float to various locations based on needs of Orthopedic Urgent Care locations. This role will provide coverage during the day while also being part of an evening/holiday rotation. Length of shift could vary. COVID: Providers (PA/NP) –that will work in non-Summit locations may need to be fully vaccinated or have been granted an approved medical or religious exemption prior to start date. (These guidelines are determined by each non-Summit location and will be adhered to as appropriate.)
