About The Position

UPMC-GoHealth Urgent Care is seeking experienced Physician Assistants (PAs) and Nurse Practitioners (NPs) to join our team on a Per Diem basis throughout the greater Pittsburgh area and across Pennsylvania and West Virginia. Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of full-time Emergency Medicine experience, or
• Minimum of 2 years of Urgent Care experience, or
• 2 years of Family Medicine experience will be considered.
• Comfortable performing minor procedures, including: Suturing, Casting, Splinting.
• Ability to provide preliminary interpretations of: EKGs, X-rays.
• Experience treating patients from newborn through adult populations in an acute care setting.
• Physician Assistants: Master's degree required, Current NCCPA certification required, State licensure in good standing.
• Nurse Practitioners: Master's degree required, Current ANCC or AANP certification required, State licensure in good standing.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients of all ages in a fast-paced, collaborative urgent care environment.
• Manage a wide variety of acute illnesses and injuries.
• Practice with advanced clinical resources, including: Integrated Epic EMR, Point-of-care testing, On-site X-ray services.
• Collaborate with experienced Medical Assistants and Radiologic Technologists.
• Work in clean, modern, and well-maintained centers focused on delivering exceptional patient care.
