Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
About The Position
Ridgefield Pediatrics, an affiliate of Boston Children’s Health Physicians (BCHP), has an opening for a Per Diem Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. This role offers the opportunity to work with children from newborn to 26 years old for acute sick and annual well visits. Our practice is a friendly, family-oriented pediatric out-patient clinic that values strong relationships between providers, patients, families, and staff. We are PCMH certified and provide patient care coordination within a team-based care atmosphere. Our practice hours include weekdays, evenings, and weekends to accommodate patient needs.
Requirements
- CT State PA License (Required)
- Experience working with children
- Flexibility
Responsibilities
- Perform well exams
- Diagnose and treat sick patients
- Order and review labs
- Perform regular med checks and prescribe appropriate medications including controlled substances
- Build a patient base for routine care
