PA/NP - Internal Medicine Primary Care - Grand Haven, MI
About The Position
Grand Haven Internal Medicine is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join its busy adult primary care practice. The Advanced Practice Provider will work as part of a care team that includes Internal Medicine Physicians, other Advanced Practice Providers, RN Care Managers, LMSW Social Workers, Pharmacy, and support staff. The office offers extended hours and a flexible four-day work week. Lab, urgent care, and imaging services are located in the same building. Experience caring for adults is preferred. The role is part of Corewell Health Medical Group and offers provider well-being and burnout resources, inbox support for MyChart messages and related inquiries, and AI-assisted clinical documentation. The position is full-time, with 40 scheduled hours per week across four days, on a day shift, and variable weekend frequency.
Requirements
- For Nurse Practitioners educated and certified after 2000: a master's, post-master's, or doctoral degree from a Nurse Practitioner program accredited by the Commission on the Collegiate of Nursing Education or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission.
- For Physician Assistants: a master's degree and graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant educational program.
- Three years of relevant, current clinical experience.
- Nurse Practitioners: previous experience functioning in a collaborative role.
- Nurse Practitioners: Michigan Nurse Practitioner license.
- Physician Assistants: Michigan Physician Assistant license.
- Physician Assistants: Physician Assistant-Certified (PA-C) certification from the NCCPA.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification, when position-dependent.
- Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification, when position-dependent.
