About The Position
St. Luke's in Boise is seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (First Assist is required) to join our collegial and patient focused Colorectal Surgery team. This busy but established practice will consist primarily of assisting in both colorectal surgeries, including, but not limited to: minimally invasive techniques and all aspects of colorectal surgery from pelvic floor and anorectal disease to inflammatory bowel disease and malignancy. Our specialists emphasize coordinated, collaborative care to ensure patients receive multi-disciplinary care.
Requirements
- First Assist is required.
- Experience is preferred but new grads accepted with a strong interest in surgery.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in colorectal surgeries, including minimally invasive techniques.
- Managing all aspects of colorectal surgery from pelvic floor and anorectal disease to inflammatory bowel disease and malignancy.
- Providing coordinated, collaborative care to ensure patients receive multi-disciplinary care.
- Rounding.
