About The Position
This is a locum tenens position for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Geriatrics in Portland, OR. The role involves providing comprehensive primary care to elderly patients (55+) in an outpatient setting, including clinic and home visits to assisted living facilities, SNFs, and personal residences. The NP/PA will work within a PACE program, focusing on holistic care for the over-55 population. The position requires managing patient care via the Epic EMR system and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of 11 members. The average daily patient volume is 4-6.
Requirements
- Board Certified (or Board Eligible)
- Licensed in OR
- DEA required
- BLS certification
- Epic EMR proficiency
- Team-based care experience
Nice To Haves
- Minimum 1-2 years geriatric experience preferred
