About The Position
Elaya Health is seeking experienced Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners (PA’s or NP’s) with expertise in diabetes management and other endocrinology needs to provide direct care to adult patients. The role involves managing type 1 and type 2 diabetes, weight management, and patient education. Responsibilities include managing insulin pumps, continuous glucose sensors, and related diabetes technology. The PA will work as part of a team with direct supervision by endocrinologists.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program or Nursing School
- 6+ Months Work Experience in Endocrinology
- Registered as a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner in NY State
Responsibilities
- Provide direct care to adult patients with type 1 and type 2 diabetes, weight management, including medical management and patient education.
- Manage use of insulin pumps, continuous glucose sensors and related diabetes technology.
- Work as part of a team that includes direct supervision by top endocrinologists.
