About The Position

The Lahey Diabetes Advanced Practice Clinician Fellowship is a 12-month postgraduate training program designed for Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants seeking advanced clinical training in diabetes management and endocrinology. Through hands-on clinical experience, structured education, and dedicated mentorship, fellows develop expertise in outpatient and inpatient diabetes management, diabetes technology (including CGM and insulin pump therapy), diagnostic interpretation and treatment planning, patient and caregiver education, interdisciplinary team-based care, and exposure to endocrinology practice across multiple clinical settings. This fellowship aims to build the knowledge, skills, and confidence to care for patients with complex diabetes while preparing for a successful career in endocrinology and diabetes management.

Requirements

  • New graduate Physician Assistants
  • Nurse Practitioners with prior RN or NP experience
