About The Position
Geisinger's Heart & Vascular Institute is seeking a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to support our Vascular Surgery department at Geisinger Community Medical Center in Scranton, Pennsylvania. The vascular surgery Advanced Practitioner will join a dedicated team of vascular surgeons and physician assistants and nurse practitioner at Geisinger Community Medical Center.
Requirements
- Graduate of an ARC-approved physician assistant program
- Eligible or certified by the National Commission for the Certification of Physician Assistants
- Eligible or certified by the State Board of Medicine
- Master's Degree-Physician Assistant
- Basic Life Support Certification
- Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
- Care Management Knowledge
- Clinical Policies And Standards
- Health Information Documentation
- Patient Assessment And Care
- Patient Safety
- Patients Rights
