About The Position

Geisinger, one of the premier tertiary medical systems on the east coast, serving the northeast and central Pennsylvania regions, has an opening for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our busy and growing OB/GYN team in Wilkes-Barre, PA. This is a 100% outpatient position with no call requirements. The average daily patient load is 21, with a Monday-Friday schedule from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

Requirements

• Master's Degree-Physician Assistant
• Basic Life Support Certification
• Certified Physician Assistant - National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
• Care Management Knowledge
• Clinical Policies And Standards
• Health Information Documentation
• Patient Assessment And Care
• Patient Safety
• Patients Rights

Responsibilities

• Join an experienced team of 7 physicians, 6 Advanced Practitioners, and 3 CNM’s
• 100% outpatient care
• Average 21 patients per day
• Schedule Mon-Fri, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM
• No call
