Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner, Hepatology (San Francisco, CA)
About The Position
Sutter West Bay Medical Group (SWBMG) is seeking a compassionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Hepatology team in San Francisco, California. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a multidisciplinary team providing high-quality care for patients with liver disease within a supportive, innovative health system. This is a full-time, outpatient-based position within a collaborative care model, working closely with hepatologists, gastroenterologists, and transplant specialists. Responsibilities include patient evaluation and management, pre- and post-transplant care coordination, and ongoing chronic liver disease management. There are opportunities for clinical research, quality improvement, and program development within a growing specialty service line. The schedule is Monday–Friday with shared call responsibilities as needed.
Requirements
- California license or eligible
- BC/BE Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Strong communication skills
- Strong patient education skills
- Commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care
