The nationally recognized Hepatology team at Mayo Clinic Arizona provides care for a diverse patient population with a broad spectrum of liver diseases. This highly collaborative practice brings together expert nursing staff, advanced practice providers, and hepatologists dedicated to delivering exceptional patient care. Requirements

Masters-prepared graduate of an accredited school of nursing and Nurse Practitioner program (for NP role).
Current AZ RN and APRN license and certification as a ACNP or FNP (for NP role).
Graduate of accredited Physician Assistant program (for PA role).
Current PA certification by NCCPA and registration as a PA by the AZ State Board of Medical Practice (for PA role).
Active BLS certification from American Heart Association or American Red Cross at start date.
DEA registration required.

Responsibilities

Delivers evidence-based care in collaboration with the care team, supporting the outpatient setting.
Maintains disciplined, timely handling of in-basket messages, results, and care coordination tasks.
Ensures charts, records, and orders are ready for efficient clinic flow and optimal patient outcomes.
Provides individualized patient education during visits.
Designs and facilitates group classrooms to empower patients with knowledge and self-management strategies.
