About The Position

University of Pittsburgh Physicians is hiring a Full-Time Physician Assistant or Acute Care Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner to help support the Center for Community Hospital Medicine at UPMC St. Margaret. The primary responsibility of the Hospitalist APP is rounding in the hospital. UPMC's Center for Community Hospitalist Medicine offers job opportunities and supports hospitalist teams in nine sites. Requirements

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): The successful completion of an approved nurse practitioner program is required.
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): Current state RN license and CRNP certification are required.
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): National certification, eligible for licensure by Pennsylvania board of nursing, eligible for certification as a CRNP by Pennsylvania state board of nursing.
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): Current CPR certification is required.
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): Act 34 Clearance required.
• Physician Assistant (PA): A graduate of a physician assistant program accredited by the Accreditation Review Commission on Education for the physician assistant (ARC-PA) is required.
• Physician Assistant (PA): Current state PA license certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) is required.
• Physician Assistant (PA): Current CPR certification is required.
• Physician Assistant (PA): Act 34 Clearance required.
• ACLS certification required within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): BSN, MSN is preferred.
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): Professional nursing experience and/or nurse practitioner experience is preferred.
• Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP): ACNP Certification Preferred.
• Physician Assistant (PA): BS or MS candidate is preferred.
• Physician Assistant (PA): Experience as a physician assistant and/or experience in a clinical setting is preferred.
