About The Position

Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Physician Assistant - OB/GYN to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/North Central Bronx. North Central Bronx Hospital (NCB) has 213 licensed beds. To this day, Jacobi and NCB remain respected leaders in emergency medicine, trauma surgery, burn care, pediatrics, primary care, and women’s health. The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Albert Einstein College of Medicine to maintain its high healthcare delivery standards. Opportunity Details: GYN Inpatient/Emergency Department: Providing clinical care and assisting in the OR. GYN Outpatient: Managing routine and complex outpatient GYN care. OB Inpatient: Includes postpartum care and assisting in cesarean deliveries. Schedule: Shifts are variable, including days, nights, weekends, or solely nights. New graduates are welcome to apply!

Requirements

  • Current NYS registration as a Physician Assistant
  • Current certification issued by the NCCPA
  • Must be ACLS/BLS certified

Responsibilities

  • Providing clinical care and assisting in the OR in the GYN Inpatient/Emergency Department
  • Managing routine and complex outpatient GYN care in the GYN Outpatient
  • Providing postpartum care and assisting in cesarean deliveries in the OB Inpatient

Benefits

  • Annual Base Salary: $131,127 - $174,836 based on 40-hour work week and years of State Licensure.
  • The annual total value of compensation package is estimated at $144,239 - $192,319, which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, and other factors as set forth below:
  • 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits): Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required. After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
