About The Position

JumpstartMD is seeking a remote Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant based in Texas or Florida to provide telehealth care focused on weight management, metabolic health, disease prevention and reversal, and healthy aging. The role uses the JumpstartMD program and may involve integrated lifestyle medicine, women’s health, pharmacology, hormonal and peptide therapies, vitamin therapies, and motivational counseling. The successful candidate will provide compassionate, detail-oriented patient care and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

Requirements

• Licensed Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant; Texas and California licensure are specified, and additional state licenses are a major plus.
• Master’s degree from an accredited NP or PA program.
• DEA Registration Certificate.
• OIG clearance and NPI number.
• Must be able to pass a background check, including criminal records clearance.
• Fluent in Microsoft Office and proficient with electronic health records.
• Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy and the ability to build connections.
• Maintain confidentiality and a positive, professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-to-one member consultations for weight management and metabolic health using the JumpstartMD program.
• Conduct one-to-one member consultations for hormone replacement therapy using the JumpstartMD program.
• Learn and integrate additional care protocols, including advanced lipid testing, risk stratification and management, hormonal and peptide therapies, skin and hair care, sexual health, and micronutrient optimization.
• Provide routine patient care, including examinations, screenings, and medication administration.
• Maintain up-to-date patient records and order and evaluate laboratory tests as needed.
• Conduct follow-up calls and promptly respond to post-visit inquiries.
• Follow company policies, safety regulations, and productivity metrics while delivering quality patient care.
• Support the team by assisting with medical and program-related questions, attending meetings, and completing required training.
