Physician Assistant/ Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP) - Gastroenterology
About The Position
Posterity Group LLC is a veteran owned, service-disabled small business, headquartered in Rockville, MD, that specializes in federal government contracting and staffing. We are tasked with staffing The Overton Brooks VA Healthcare System with Gastroenterology Physician Assistants and or Nurse Practitioners. The PAs/NPs is expected to do the following: Assess patient's needs and determine appropriate medications and/or treatments for medical conditions Maintain patient charts and documentation in accordance with all state and federal regulations Coordinate services with medical professionals regarding individual needs of patients Work alongside a Gastroenterologist for support Any other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Current, full and unrestricted license to practice in a State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States, or in the District of Columbia.
- at least bachelor's degree in relevant fields
- Valid BLS
- at least 3 years of relevant experience
Responsibilities
- Assess patient's needs and determine appropriate medications and/or treatments for medical conditions

- Coordinate services with medical professionals regarding individual needs of patients
- Work alongside a Gastroenterologist for support
