About The Position

St. John’s University’s College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences seeks qualified Physician Assistants to serve as part-time, hourly laboratory educators in its Master of Science in Physician Assistant Program. Under the direct supervision of an assigned course coordinator, educators support hands-on instruction, student practice, clinical skills development, and formative feedback in one or more laboratory courses. Appointments and work schedules depend on course needs, educator availability, qualifications, and relevant clinical experience; assigned hours may vary by semester and are not guaranteed. Educators help maintain a respectful, inclusive, and psychologically safe learning environment and ensure students follow laboratory safety procedures. This hourly instructional position has no routine administrative responsibilities, such as course coordination, student advisement, committee service, or accreditation responsibilities.
