Requirements
- PA-C certification
- Cardiology or surgical experience
- Flexibility and strong collaboration with the cardiology team

Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including histories, physical exams, and diagnostic interpretation
- Provide care across outpatient clinic and inpatient settings
- Manage pre- and post-procedural cardiac patients
- Serve as Surgical First Assist in cardiovascular procedures
- Develop and implement treatment plans for acute and chronic cardiac conditions
- Order, interpret, and act on diagnostic tests (ECGs, stress tests, imaging, labs)
- Perform delegated procedures (wound care, sutures, line support)
- Educate patients and families on conditions, medications, and follow-up care
- Document care accurately in the electronic health record
- Collaborate with cardiologists, surgeons, and interdisciplinary teams
- Participate in quality improvement and clinical protocol development
