About The Position

This is a Locum Tenens position for a Cardiac Anesthesiologist at a hospital in York, PA. The role involves providing supplemental coverage, including clinical shifts and call, from September 21st onwards. The physician will be responsible for a variety of cases including Cardiac Anesthesiology, General Surgical Cases, Complex Surgical Patients, and Level I Trauma Cases. Support staff includes surgeons, specialty clinicians, and a multidisciplinary care team, with full surgical and specialty service backup available. The hospital has 593 beds and is a Level I Trauma center. Epic is used as the EMR system.

Requirements

• Active PA License or IMLC (LOQ)
• BC/BE
• ACLS Certification
• PALS Certification

Nice To Haves

• Minimum 2 Years Experience Preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide Cardiac Anesthesiology coverage.
• Manage perioperative patients.
• Administer anesthesia for surgical and procedural cases.
• Handle clinical shifts and night beeper call.
• Participate in a shared call coverage ratio.
