Inova is seeking an experienced Physician & Advanced Practice Provider (APP) Recruiter to play a key role in attracting and hiring top clinical talent that supports our mission of delivering world-class care. In this strategic recruiting role, you'll develop innovative sourcing strategies, build strong partnerships with physician and service line leaders, and create exceptional candidate experiences from first contact through hire. As a trusted advisor and talent acquisition expert, you'll leverage market insights, data, and Inova's compelling employee value proposition to identify, engage, and convert high-caliber physicians and APPs while building diverse talent pipelines that meet the evolving needs of our growing health system. This is a hybrid role with expectations of being on-site (Northern VA) multiple times per week.

Requirements

  • 3 years of experience in Physician, Executive or Healthcare Recruitment
  • Bachelor's degree in related field (or relevant experience in lieu of degree equivalent to 4 years)

Nice To Haves

  • 3+ years experience in provider/physician/APP recruitment
  • Experience in high volume recruitment

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute innovative recruitment strategies to attract top Physician and Advanced Practice Provider (APP) talent.
  • Source and engage candidates through a variety of channels, including professional networks, conferences, residency programs, social media, and referrals.
  • Build and maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Deliver an exceptional candidate experience by serving as the primary point of contact throughout the recruitment process.
  • Coordinate interviews, site visits, facility tours, and candidate events, including after-hours recruitment activities.
  • Partner with hiring leaders to understand workforce needs, develop recruitment plans, and provide market insights and hiring recommendations.
  • Communicate recruitment progress, metrics, and candidate feedback to leaders through regular updates and reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with recruitment policies, employment regulations, and applicant tracking system (ATS) processes.
  • Monitor recruiting metrics and use data to continuously improve hiring strategies and outcomes.
  • Build relationships with physicians, APPs, residency programs, universities, and professional organizations to strengthen the talent pipeline and employer brand.
  • Represent the organization at recruitment events, conferences, and career fairs.
  • Stay current on industry trends and continuously identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and the candidate experience.
