About The Position

Vituity is seeking an Emergency Medicine Physician Ambassador to support emergency staffing needs at existing sites and new start-ups. Ambassadors work across a variety of practice settings and may practice throughout the United States while living where they choose. Full-time ambassadors are guaranteed a minimum of 142 hours per month. Travel, room and board, hospital credentialing fees, applicable state licensing, secondary DEA costs, and site-required certifications are covered. The position is associated with Novant Health Bluffton Emergency Department in Bluffton, South Carolina.

Requirements

• Board eligible or board certified in Emergency Medicine.
• Current ABEM board certification is required.
• Must have a clean professional record regarding standard hospital attestation questions, excluding malpractice cases, to obtain temporary privileges at client hospitals.
• Must be flexible and collaborative, with outstanding communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide emergency department staffing support at Vituity’s existing sites and new start-ups.
• Work in a variety of practice settings as an ambassador.
• Provide emergency medicine care at the Novant Health Bluffton Emergency Department and other assigned practice locations.
