About The Position

The Physician Account Executive is responsible for growing current business and securing profitable new business in diagnostics by building relationships, opening new business, and driving sales growth. The role owns the call point for certain accounts and provides support and expertise to new and existing accounts. It is a field-based sales position covering West Los Angeles, including Beverly Hills and West Hollywood.

Requirements

Five years of experience in sales or account ownership; a hunter mentality is required.
Knowledge of the healthcare industry and general business economics.
Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Solid PC skills, including Microsoft software.
Bachelor’s degree required.

Nice To Haves

Laboratory or diagnostics sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis, and consistent follow-up.
Target and secure new business.
Provide overall support and expertise to new and existing accounts.
Increase discretionary business through insurance access.
Partner with and notify the Physician Account Manager on complex issues or when face-to-face or extensive service is required.
Provide immediate support for less complex issues.
Leverage available tools and resources, including data, the sales portal, target lists, the Marketing Department, laboratory resources, and regional or national resources as needed.
Maintain broad knowledge of connectivity products.
Prepare and present proposals and bids.
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Complete administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly.
