About The Position

The Physician Account Executive grows current business and secures profitable new business in diagnostics by building relationships, opening new accounts, and driving sales growth. The role has call point ownership of certain accounts and is field-based, covering Sarasota, Florida, and the surrounding area.

Requirements

Five years of experience in sales or account ownership.
A hunter mentality.
Knowledge of the healthcare industry and general business economics.
Ability to develop and sustain strong customer relationships.
Strong planning and organizational skills.
Excellent oral and written communication and presentation skills.
Solid PC skills, including Microsoft software.
Bachelor’s degree.
Valid driver’s license.

Laboratory or diagnostics sales experience.

Responsibilities

Drive sales through pre-call planning, post-call analysis, and consistent follow-up.
Target and secure new business.
Provide overall support and expertise to new and existing accounts.
Increase discretionary business through insurance access.
Partner with and notify the Physician Account Manager about complex issues or when face-to-face or extensive service is required.
Provide immediate support for less complex issues.
Leverage available tools and resources, including data, the sales portal, target lists, the Marketing Department, Laboratory resources, and regional or national resources as needed.
Maintain broad knowledge of connectivity products.
Prepare and present proposals and bids.
Ensure compliance with company policies and government regulations.
Complete administrative tasks thoroughly and promptly.
