About The Position

Team Rehab is a therapist-owned network of outpatient clinics in Michigan, Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, and Georgia. The Physical Therapy Technician helps prepare and support patients during therapy sessions, assists therapists with non-clinical tasks, and helps maintain a safe, clean, and organized treatment environment. On-the-job training is provided, and no prior experience or education is required. The role offers a chance to gain clinical-setting experience while working with licensed therapists, particularly for those interested in physical therapy or another healthcare career.

Responsibilities

• Welcome and prepare patients for therapy sessions.
• Assist therapists with non-clinical tasks and patient support.
• Guide patients through light exercises and strengthening techniques.
• Educate patients on the safe and correct use of equipment.
• Apply therapeutic modalities, including heat or ice packs and electrical stimulation, as directed.
• Help patients walk safely between areas of the clinic.
• Keep treatment areas clean, organized, and sanitized.
• Communicate with patients, therapists, and other staff to support smooth care.
• Observe and report patient progress or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the clinic director.
