(Full Time) Physical Therapy Technician - Lansing Clinic
About The Position
Peak Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Technician for their Lansing Clinic. This full-time role offers the opportunity to gain valuable clinical experience by working directly alongside licensed Physical Therapists in an outpatient orthopedic setting. Technicians will develop hands-on experience with therapeutic exercise, patient care, and clinic operations, building a strong foundation for future healthcare careers. The role involves assisting patients, preparing treatment areas, maintaining a clean clinic environment, supporting front office operations, and observing patient progress. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week), including opening and closing shifts Monday through Friday.
- CPR knowledge preferred.
Nice To Haves
- Background in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or Personal Training is preferred but not required.
- Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming clinic environment.
- Support front office operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient information as needed.
- Observe patient progress and communicate concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
- Help create an exceptional patient experience while supporting efficient clinic operations.
- Follow all company policies, HIPAA requirements, and safety standards.
