About The Position

Peak Performance Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapy Technician to join our team at the Mason Clinic. This full-time position offers valuable clinical experience, allowing you to work directly alongside licensed Physical Therapists in an outpatient orthopedic setting. You will develop hands-on experience with therapeutic exercise, patient care, and clinic operations, building a strong foundation for future careers in various healthcare professions. As a technician, you will play a crucial role in helping patients stay motivated and engaged throughout their rehabilitation journey, creating a welcoming and positive experience from the moment they arrive. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Ability to work full-time (40 hours per week), including opening and closing shifts Monday through Friday.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Background in Kinesiology, Exercise Science, Athletic Training, Sports Medicine, or Personal Training is preferred but not required.
  • Previous healthcare experience is a plus but not required.
  • CPR knowledge preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with therapeutic exercises under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist.
  • Prepare treatment areas and ensure equipment is clean, organized, and ready for patient care.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming clinic environment.
  • Support front office operations, including greeting patients, scheduling appointments, and maintaining accurate patient information as needed.
  • Observe patient progress and communicate concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist.
  • Help create an exceptional patient experience while supporting efficient clinic operations.
  • Follow all company policies, HIPAA requirements, and safety standards.
