About The Position

A Physical Therapy Technician (Tech) assists licensed physical therapists in implementing treatment plans and preparing patients for therapy sessions. They help set up equipment, support patient exercises, and ensure a safe and efficient therapy environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Strong interest in healthcare, physical therapy, fitness, or patient care.
Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of licensed clinical staff.
Professional, dependable, and punctual.
Strong communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Comfortable assisting patients with exercises, movement, and basic equipment.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and follow safety and infection-control procedures.
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, move, or assist with equipment and patients as required.

Nice To Haves

CPR or Basic Life Support certification preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Provide professional, courteous support to patients throughout their visit.
Prepare patients, treatment areas, and equipment for physical therapy sessions.
Assist licensed physical therapists with implementing established treatment plans.
Guide patients through assigned exercises under the direction and supervision of a licensed therapist.
Monitor patients during activities and promptly report concerns or changes to the therapist.
Maintain patient flow and ensure therapy sessions operate efficiently and on schedule.
Clean, disinfect, organize, and maintain treatment equipment and clinical areas.
Perform administrative or clinic support duties as assigned.
