About The Position

Revere Health is seeking a motivated, self-driven Physical Therapy Aide to join its Physical Therapy group in Provo. The role supports physical therapy care by preparing treatment areas, patients, and equipment; assisting patients; and helping maintain a safe, clean, and well-stocked treatment environment. The position requires protecting patient confidentiality and working effectively in a fast-paced office.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to adhere to HIPAA regulations and protect patients’ privacy.
• Attention to detail, good communication skills, punctuality, and ability to multitask.
• Compassionate and empathetic approach toward patients.
• Self-starter who can work in a fast-paced office environment and recognize when help is needed.

Nice To Haves

• Completion of a college-level anatomy course.
• Prior physical therapy experience, or a career path in physical therapy.
• Ability to speak Spanish.

Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment areas, patients, and equipment.
• Welcome and comfort patients, and provide or assist them into the physical therapy room.
• Answer patient questions and requests and help allay fears.
• Assist with treatment by applying heat packs and performing prescribed exercises and strengthening techniques.
• Keep patient information confidential.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Sterilize and deliver equipment and supplies to the treatment area, and position equipment for therapist access.
• Check and stock the physical therapy room and consultation rooms to maintain supply inventory.
